I followed it thinking it was<br \/>\na kookaburra. With every inch I advanced, it changed<\/p>\n<p>its song\u2014unrecognizable cries, stolen from the throats of others. Her poems have been published or are forthcoming in <em>The Literary Review, Hayden\u2019s Ferry Review, Linebreak,<\/em> and <em>The Cortland Review<\/em>, among others.
