We’re very pleased to share Dariel Suarez’s recent fiction publications!\u00a0\u00a0The title story of his collection, which Dariel says got him\u00a0into BU\u2019s MFA program, has just been published by The Florida Review<\/em>. Here\u2019s a link<\/a> to the issue, where you can read an excerpt of his story “A Kind of Solitude.”<\/p>\n

Dariel’s short story \u201cThe Comforter,\u201d which was workshopped in Leslie Epstein\u2019s class, has been published in the current issue of \u00a0Southern Humanities Review<\/em>.\u00a0Click here<\/a> to read an excerpt.<\/p>\n

Dariel Suarez is the author of the chapbook <\/span>In The Land of Tropical Martyrs<\/em>, available from Backbone Press. He earned his M.F.A. in fiction at Boston University and is one of the founding editors of <\/span>Middle Gray Magazine.<\/em> He has taught creative writing at Boston University, the Boston Arts Academy, and Boston University\u2019s Metropolitan College. Dariel\u2019s writing has appeared or is forthcoming in numerous journals and magazines, including <\/span>Michigan Quarterly Review, Prairie Schooner, The Florida Review, Southern Humanities Review,<\/em> and <\/span>The Caribbean Writer<\/em>, as well as several anthologies. Dariel is currently finishing revisions on a novel about a Cuban political prisoner, titled <\/span>The Playwright\u2019s House.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
