The book launch is tonight in\u00a0London, 7 Pm at\u00a0Koppell\u00a0Gallery!\u00a0The book is also\u00a0appearing simultaneously in Romanian through Editura Charmides, translated by Radu Vancu.<\/p>\n<p>From the back cover:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In <em>Skurtu, Romania,<\/em> the poet lands physically and emotionally in the country of her family\u2019s forgotten history, and she familiarizes herself in this foreign place through the dynamic of an alienating love story. Tara Skurtu\u2019s poems have the logic of memory, the vivid spontaneity of dreams, and the precision of calculus\u2014each line is, in a sense, an asymptote continually approaching the limits of language and love.
