We’re happy to share that our current poetry MFA student, Aaron Caycedo-Kimura, recently published a poem in the spring issue of\u00a0Beloit Poetry Journal<\/a>!\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>Read the poem\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Aaron says, My poem \u201cThe Fern\u201d is about the loss of something I never had but always wanted. It was inspired by the wild ferns growing in my backyard that I dug up last spring and transplanted.<\/em><\/p>\n

Aaron Caycedo-Kimura\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>is a poet, painter, and cartoonist. His poetry appears or is forthcoming in\u00a0<\/span>Poet Lore<\/em>,\u00a0<\/span>DMQ Review<\/em>,\u00a0<\/span>Crab Creek Review<\/em>,\u00a0<\/span>Naugatuck River Review<\/em>,\u00a0<\/span>Off the Coast<\/em>,\u00a0<\/span>Connecticut River Review<\/em>,\u00a0<\/span>Gravel<\/em>,\u00a0<\/span>Crack the Spine<\/em>,\u00a0<\/span>Rust + Moth<\/em>,\u00a0<\/span>Tule Review<\/em>, and elsewhere.
