<\/a>Don Share<\/a> (Poetry 1988), who is Senior Editor of POETRY magazine<\/a>, has recently published several new books. Wishbone<\/a><\/em>, his third book of poems, is out now from Black Sparrow; <\/a>his translations of Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez, which earned him the Times Literary Supplement Translation Prize<\/a>, are being issued in March in a revised and expanded edition by the New York Review of Books; his anthology, co-edited with Christian Wiman, The Open Door: 100 Poems, 100 Years of Poetry Magazine<\/a><\/em>, published in October by the University of Chicago Press<\/a>, has earned a starred review from Library Journal<\/a>; and finally, his translation of Field Guide<\/a><\/em>, by Colombian poet Dario Jaramilo Agudelo, was just published by Marick Press<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Don’s other books include Squandermania<\/em><\/a> (Salt Publishing), Union<\/em><\/a> (Zoo Press), Seneca in English<\/em><\/a> (Penguin Classics), and Bunting\u2019s Persia<\/em><\/a> (Flood Editions), a 2012 Guardian Book of the Year and Paris Review Editors\u2019 Choice selection; he has also edited a critical edition of Bunting\u2019s work for Faber and Faber. His translations of Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez, collected in I Have Lots of Heart<\/em> <\/a>(Bloodaxe Books) were awarded the Times Literary Supplement \/ Society of Authors Translation Prize and Premio Valle Incl\u00e1n.\u00a0 He has been Poetry Editor of Harvard Review<\/a> and Partisan Review<\/a>, Editor of Literary Imagination<\/a>, and curator of poetry at Harvard University.\u00a0 For his work at POETRY<\/a> he has earned two National Magazine Awards for Editorial Excellence.<\/p>\n
