The chapbook, titled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.damaskpress.com\/2013\/02\/announcing-city-structures-by-sophie-grimes\/\">&#8220;City Structures,&#8221;<\/a> will be released in late spring or early summer, with a release party and reading to be held in Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>Damask writes that &#8220;Sophie\u2019s poems begin with crossings \u2014 spatial, linguistic, intellectual \u2014 and travel the tangles.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sophie\u00a0Summertown\u00a0Grimes\u00a0has lived and traveled in China as an Oberlin  Shansi Fellow, and as <a href=\"blogs.bu.edu\/world\">a Robert Pinsky Global Fellow<\/a>. You can <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.bu.edu\/world\/2011-global-fellows\/sophie-grimes-china\/\">read about her travels as a Global Fellow here<\/a>. She holds a B.A. in  Creative Writing from Oberlin College and graduated from our MFA program in 2011. Her poems have appeared in\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/agni\/poetry\/online\/2012\/grimes.html\">AGNIonline<\/a>, <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.491magazine.com\/\"><em>491 Magazine<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/crate.ucr.edu\/\"><em>CRATE<\/em><\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.srpr.org\/\"><em>Spoon River Poetry Review<\/em><\/a>. Second runner-up for the 2011\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newletters.org\/\">New Letters<\/a> <\/em>Prize  for Poetry, she lives and works in Chicago, where she is completing her  first full book of poems.
