Great news! Three of our poetry alumni have been published in the spring issue of Redivider<\/a>. Lisa Hiton<\/a>, Daniel Kraines<\/a> (both Poetry 2011), and Megan Fernandes<\/a> (Poetry 2012) all have poems appearing in Redivider 10.2<\/a>, which is available for purchase here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lisa Hiton<\/strong> is a Chicago native.\u00a0 Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Hayden’s Ferry Review<\/em>, Linebreak<\/em>, The Cortland Review<\/em>, Indiana Review<\/em>,\u00a0and DMQ Review <\/em>among others. \u00a0She has received fellowships from the New York State Summer Writers Institute and the MU Writing Workshops in Greece. \u00a0She is a current nominee for the Pushcart Prize and master’s candidate in Arts in Education at Harvard University.<\/p>\n

Daniel Kraines<\/strong> teaches at West Nottingham Academy in Maryland and is a candidate for an MA in Social Thought and Modernism at NYU.<\/p>\n

Megan Fernandes<\/strong> is a PhD candidate in English Literature and the founder of the Poetry\/Poetics Hub at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She holds an MFA in Poetry from Boston University. She is the co-editor of Strangers in Paris <\/em>(Tightrope Books) and the author of two chapbooks entitled Organ Speech <\/em>(Corrupt Press) and Some C<\/em>itrus Makes me Blue <\/em>(Dancing Girl Press). Her dissertation research draws on science and technology studies, media philosophy, critical theory, and 20th\/21st century comparative poetics and literature.<\/p>\n
