The grant will support her newest book-length translation of Chinese poetry.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eleanorgoodman.com\/\">Eleanor Goodman<\/a> is a writer and a translator from Chinese. Her work appears in journals such as <em>PN Review<\/em>, <em>Chutzpah \u5929\u5357<\/em>, <em>Pleiades<\/em>, <em>Cha<\/em>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/thebestamericanpoetry.typepad.com\/\">The Best American Poetry website<\/a>. She is a Research Associate at the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard University. She has held writing residencies at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vermontstudiocenter.org\/\">Vermont Studio Center<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aarome.org\/\">American Academy in Rome<\/a>.
