Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Consultants (TECC) information and recruitment meeting

The Technology Entrepreneurship & Commercialization Consultants (TECC) is a multidisciplinary team of students that provide pro-bono business consulting services to start-up companies, primarily serving BU spin-out and spin-in companies.

The group works closely with BU’s Technology Commercialization office (OTD) http://www.bu.edu/otd/, responsible for commercilizing BU research through start-up companies and licensing. OTD also manages the Business Incubator in the Photonics Center and the Kindle Mentoring program, which matches mentee projects with experienced entrepreneurs and executives.  Memebers of TECC will have an opportunity to work with OTD and gain access to its network of mentors and companies. TECC projects are typically semester long, but may vary in scope.

The group currently has a healthcare practice (Health-TECC) and is expanding to clean energy (Clean-TECC). For more information or if you are interested in becoming a TECC consultant, please attend our informational/recruitment meeting on Monday, 1/31 @ 5 – 6pm in SMG 220.

Please RSPV to Jon Jensen at jjensen@bu.edu.

We look forward to seeing you there.

NOTE: This is a new iteration of the planned Technology Commercialization Lab (TCL) initiative that some of you may be familiar with.  If you were interested in the TCL concept and were awaiting its launch then you should attend this meeting.
