In this lab you will master Microsoft PPM and make further progress in your journey as you transition from projects to programs and portfolios.\u00a0 You will have the opportunity to browse through carefully crafted PowerPoint presentations (which are also recorded as tutorials) and then, as\u00a0 students of more advanced courses in Program and Portfolio Management, to then try this out yourself using Microsoft PPM software.<\/p>\n<p>In this lab, you will be exposed to an exciting case study of a medical device firm called Terrier Health which is introducing new hardware and software products and services that allow medical professionals to better serve their patients. Following along with \u2013 and interacting with &#8211; Terrier Health\u2019s portfolio of projects, you\u00a0will obtain a clear understanding of the core principles of program management.<\/p>\n<p>PM200 will put you in the driver&#8217;s seat so that you <em>use<\/em> MS-PPM software to make decisions about:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>which projects to launch<\/li>\n<li>how to maintain a family of projects in a program<\/li>\n<li>what and how to report to leadership regarding\n<ul>\n<li>overall schedule, resource use, and risk profile of the programs and projects in the portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Dashboard (red\/yellow\/green) reports that roll up KPIs for executiveshas students <em>use<\/em> MS-PPM software to make decisions about:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PM200: Introduction to Project, Program, and Portfolio Management PM200 is a self-paced experience which will familiarize you with Program and Portfolio management.
