My name is Kate and I&#8217;m a fourth year PhD candidate in the Astronomy Department at Boston University. I&#8217;m working with Prof. Luke Moore to map upper-atmospheric temperatures and ion densities at Jupiter to better understand energy transport methods and gain basic constraints on local physical conditions.<\/p>\n<p>My primary research interests are centered on learning more about the origins of diversity in our solar system despite a seemingly small variety of prevalent elements and compounds.
