My research interests focus on <strong>Space Physics<\/strong> and, to be more specific, the precipitation into the upper atmosphere of energetic particles that populate the Earth&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Magnetosphere\">magnetosphere<\/a>. Before moving to Boston in August 2014 to start the Astronomy PhD program at Boston University, I got both my Bachelor&#8217;s and my Master&#8217;s degrees in Physics at the <em>University of L&#8217;Aquila<\/em> (Italy), where my research was focused on the response of the magnetosphere to interplanetary shocks.
