A University Honors College Seminar.<\/p>\n<p>Students will study the history       of reception and the <em>modus vitae <\/em>embodied       in the great figure of Exodus story and Sinaitic legislation and attempt       to construe a Moses for our time. The course draws on a variety of       Jewish, Christian, and Muslim traditions and approaches such as biblical       Higher Criticism, \u201cmnemohistory\u201d (the   history of memory), philosophy, theology, and literary criticism.
