Here is a quick diagram of how social media and your blog work together and support each other.

The goal is to drive audience to your blog from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.

At the same time, use social media to promote and share your story, video, picture on your blog.

Add categories and tags to your blog post. Categories will organize your blog post and tags will make you findable online.
