The lab is involved in projects related to Machine Learning, Vision &amp; Learning, Structured Signal Processing, and Decision &amp; Control. The laboratory is led by Prof. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ece\/people\/faculty\/o-z\/venkatesh-saligrama\/\">Venkatesh Saligrama<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the area of machine learning recent research projects have dealt with <a title=\"Resource Efficient ML\" href=\"http:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/data\/research\/learning-with-budgets\/\">resource constrained machine learning(a.k.a. BudgeML)<\/a>, graph-structured signal detection and recovery, topic modeling and anomaly detection. More information about our projects can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/data\/research\/\">http:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/data\/research\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Another focus of my recent research is on developing concepts and tools for <a title=\"Video Anomaly Detection\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.bu.edu\/yutingch\/video-anomaly-detection\/\">video analytics<\/a> in highly cluttered and urban scenarios.
