AMNESP GSA Conference

New England and the World
October 24 & 25, 2014

The American and New England Studies Program at Boston University is pleased to announce its 2014 graduate student conference: “New England and the World.” Our goal is to make this conference a gathering not only of academics, but of the larger community as well.

We will have panels on a variety of New England topics, ranging from colonial history to Boston architecture to transatlantic literary movements. With our keynote speaker, urban historian Dolores Hayden, opening the conference, it promises to be an engaging and inclusive event.

More information on the conference can be found on our conference poster. Feel free to contact the graduate student association at with any questions.

Registration can be paid via cash or a check made out to “American Studies Graduate Student Association.” You can bring your registration fee to the conference registration table during the conference, or mail it ahead of time to the American Studies Office at 226 Bay State Road, Boston University, Boston MA 02215.
