When did you start fencing? My sophomore year of high school.

Why did you start fencing? I always wanted to try it, as other sports did not really hold an appeal for me.

What is one of your favorite fencing memories? Going to nationals in Michigan and seeing how well our entire women’s sabre team had ranked, despite numerous injuries and inexperience.

What was a proud moment in your BU fencing career? I am very proud of the progress I have made in the last year or so, since my last serious fencing injury.

Off the fencing strip: I can speak four languages (including ASL, Italian, and Spanish). I collect postcards of each of the Van Gogh paintings that I have seen in person (so far I have five). I lived in Panama for four years.
