The BU Fencing Club meets two days a week, Saturday 11-12:30 pm and Sunday 5-6:30 pm in Courts 3 and 4. We have squads for all three weapons (both Men’s and Women’s), and we accept new members of all skill levels, from beginners to veterans.
Aside from the practice, we routinely compete in local, regional and national tournaments. These take place on the weekends (Saturdays or Sundays), and we will supply all of the transportation. You do not have to compete in any tournaments in order to be part of the team, but it is highly encouraged to do so. They are a great learning experience and we always have a good time!
Additionally, you do not have to own any equipment in order to fence with us. We have a large stock of team equipment that members can use as they wish. If you do own personal equipment, however, we have two large storage lockers that you can keep your bags in.
If you want to know more you can drop by one of our practices anytime. We hold them every Monday-Thursday night at FitRec.

Hello! I am a sophomore at bu, and i want to know that do you guys still accept new members this semester?
I used to play fencing when i was kid, but quit playing due to physical issues and stopped for years, so i still got all the rules in mind (saber only) so i believe i can fit in pretty quick.
