When did you start fencing? I took a fencing class in high school, but I didn’t really get into it until freshman year of college!

Why did you start fencing? I loved the sword fighting scenes in the Princess Bride.

What is one of your favorite fencing memories? There are too many to count. A few of my favorite were fencing outside on Marsh Plaza, “story time” footwork, and having twelve fencers sprawled across my mom’s living room during Nationals in 2012.

What was a proud moment in your BU fencing career? I was so proud of my women’s saber squad when we came in 1st place at the New England Club Championships in 2014.

 

Off the fencing strip: I like juggling, milkshakes, and environmental activism. I dislike onions, people who don’t believe in climate change, and mosquitoes. My current TV obsession is Lost. I can touch my tongue to my nose.
