Each summer, BUWIC opens its election polls for 2010-2011 chemistry colloquium speaker nominations. The time has come, email – buwicofficers@gmail.com – with your speaker suggestions.
Nominations will be accepted until 5 pm on Wednesday July 21st. At that time, you will receive another email regarding voting to decide who to invite among the nominated speakers.
Colloquium speakers are distinguished academics in the field of chemistry. They are invited by BUWIC to the Department of Chemistry to meet with students and professors and present their cutting-edge research in an afternoon seminar.
BUWIC is interested in nominees from all areas of chemistry, especially those scientists who are particularly supportive of women in chemistry and science in general.
