NEWEA offers scholarships to deserving students in undergraduate, graduate and for individuals enrolled in continuing education/training programs.
Two $1,000 scholarship awards are available each year; one to an Undergraduate student and one to a Graduate student. The awards are based on understanding of the issues, written communication ability, demonstrated interest and activities in environmental protection, and academic performance.
NEWEA’s objective is to encourage and to provide incentive for capable and motivated individuals to continue their studies in the advancement of their water environment protection skills, and to enhance and promote the quality of their performance as environmental professionals.
