IRG seeks a Contracts Manager who provides contractual support for U.S. and field-based project teams. The ability to effectively interface with various levels of management and clients to support preparation of budget offers, pipeline analysis and modification proposals is necessary. Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Government service-type cost reimbursable, T&M and fixed price contracts and grants management are required. Strong financial/ budgetary skills and the ability to work with spreadsheets are required. Experience in contract audit practices, international purchasing, overseas work and knowledge of a foreign language preferred. Candidates must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and undertake some international travel. The direct supervisor will be Contracts Director.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or educational equivalent) in Business. Prior Work Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in Job Offered or Related Occupation; Experience must have included demonstrable experience in USAID project and contracts management, USAID cost proposal, FAR, and AIDAR. Language: No language requirement other than English. Software Experience: Proficient spreadsheet skills and working knowledge of MS Excel/ Word required. Travel: Opportunity for occasional travel to project locations. Other Requirements: Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident. Salary will commensurate with experience.
