Environmental Planner

Epsilon Associates, a mid-size environmental consulting and engineering firm based in Maynard, Massachusetts, is seeking an Environmental Planner to work as part of the Epsilon team on a wide range of environmental permitting projects.

Position Description

The Environmental Planner will research and prepare environmental review documents for agency and public review under the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act and Article 80 (the City of Boston’s environmental review process), for submittal to the Energy Facilities Site Board, and for other federal, state and local programs.  Epsilon’s client base includes high profile commercial real estate, energy, and residential developers and public agencies.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a degree in environmental planning, environmental policy or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.  In lieu of a Masters degree, applicants should have at least two years experience working with state or federal environmental laws, regulations and policies.  Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.  This position requires the ability to work cooperatively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
