energy development business. GIS & Wind Analyst Internship
We are seeking a GIS & Wind Analyst Intern to aid in the development of future wind projects. The selected candidate will work with our Senior GIS and Wind Analyst on a in our Woburn office. Past interns have gained valuable, first-hand experience that proved useful for graduate school and careers in GIS and Wind Analysis. Some interns have been offered permanent positions at the
conclusion of an internship.
Responsibilities
• Creating and maintaining GIS datasets
• Collecting data
• Performing spatial analysis
• Creating and compiling base map elements
• Creation of presentation quality maps
• Learning how to use WindPRO software
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, atmospheric science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of ArcGIS
• Data management skills
• Excellent verbal and written and communication skills
• Understanding of atmospheric science or physical geography a plus
• Knowledge of collecting data with GPS a plus
• Knowledge of WindPRO a plus
