Save the Date (Oct 10): Global Health & Engineering Meetup Kickoff and Revival!
Yay, GHECHo is back and with an exciting year of speakers and events! Come to our Kick-Off Meeting, and join us for an hour of short presentations by students and staff from different fields in global health, followed by networking and discussions over refreshments! All good things come to those who RSVP.
For this event, we are excited to have:
– Stephanie Yaung on Quantamerix and understanding public health challenges in rural China (Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology)
– Susan Foster on the Ebola outbreak in Africa (Boston University School of Public Health)
– Dr. Christopher Gill on the potential for development of a practical cell phone based system for subject identification in low resource settings based on biometric analysis of ear morphology (Project SEARCH, Boston University School of Public Health)
