Local Churches

Park Street Church:

Sermons are typically intellectual and challenging. Many international students attend and there is an international student fellowship that meets after the 11 am service. Traditional services at 8:30am and 11am, Contemporary service at 4pm. City Life Church:

This church is a Boston version of Tim Keller’s NYC church.  It is Asian led but a mixed group.  The church features intellectual sermons and strong community. City on a Hill: 

Small church, but has a strong community life and strong preaching.  Lots of students and young professionals attend.  The pastor is also the chaplain for the Boston Red Sox.  Sunday Services are at 10:00 am at Driscoll Elementary School in Brookline near Washington Square and at 6:00 pm in Allston (30 Gordon Street). Highrock Brookline:

A growing church (on the smaller side) with great community and preaching.  Sunday service is at 9:30 am with a shared meal at 10:45 am.  Highrock meets at Edward Devotion Middle School in Brookline (345 Harvard Street).  For more information check out www.highrockbrookline.org

Hope Fellowship:

A Biblically-sound church in Porter Square (16 Beech Street, Cambridge) with great preaching and community.  Sunday services are at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, and 1:00 pm.  For more information check out www.hopefellowshipchurch.org

St Cecilia Parish:

This Catholic church has a young, vibrant congregation and traditional services (but not stuffy!). Located near Mass Ave. next to Berklee, Mass is at 5:00 pm on Saturday, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, 11:15 am, and 6:00 pm on Sunday. Religious education is after the 9:30 service and there is a large 20 and 30 something group.  For more information check out www.stceciliaboston.org
