I am a 4th year Ph.D. candidate at Boston University currently working in the BU White Dwarf group guided by Professor JJ Hermes. I am interested in observationally studying anomalous populations of massive white dwarfs in an effort to learn more about stellar evolution.

Recently, I have been working on measuring metal pollution fractions in white dwarfs which is a signpost for remnant planetary systems. I found that over 40% of white dwarfs harbor remnant planetary systems, there are much fewer massive white dwarfs showing signs of pollution compared to canonical mass white dwarfs (Ould Rouis et al. 2024, accepted to ApJ).

I am also passionate about science communication, DEI efforts, and outreach. Born and raised in Paris (France), I seek to connect with others, combine ways of thinking science. Ultimately, I am eager to combine research, teaching, service and public engagement through a career in Academia.

Outside of work hours, I love to wander around cities, spend time reading at coffee places, dream in museums, or discover new perspectives through cinema.
