Licensing Business Plan Competition

The Licensing Executives Society Foundation <http://www.lesfoundation.org/>  officially kicks off registration for its 2011 International Graduate Student Business Plan Competition on November 18th in celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Students -- MS/MBA/MD/JD/PhD and postdoctoral scholars -- from around the world are invited to participate in this global competition which focuses on business plans that include an overview of intellectual property (IP) assets and describe how they will be managed and commercialized to achieve business goals.  Student teams receive comprehensive feedback throughout the process from IP business leaders who share valuable expertise earned in the trenches of business.  Teams will compete to win all-expenses-paid trips to the Final Round at the LES International (LESI) Annual Conference in London, England where they will attend educational sessions, network with global IP leaders, and compete for cash and in-kind prizes.

Global Entrepreneurship Week <http://www.unleashingideas.org/>  was founded by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and Enterprise UK.  It is designed to inspire young people to embrace innovation and creativity and to 'think big' about turning their ideas into reality. From November 15-21, 2010, millions of young people around the world will join a growing movement to generate new ideas and seek better ways of doing things through tens of thousands of activities that are being planned in dozens of countries across the globe. The LES Foundation registration kick-off is one such event.
