Audio Production Class Spring 12

This course will focus on audio recording, editing, and production and will include both digital and traditional production techniques.  We will explore proper microphone set-up and usage, live and recorded audio mixing, media transfer, sampling, effects processing, final mixing, and bouncing.  Projects will include the creation of custom ring tones for cell phones, and producing recordings of BUA ensembles, among others.

Here are some pictures from the class so far, this semester.

What we are currently working on are cell phone ring tones for the “Academy.” So far, they seem to be a mix of Dr. Who, Star Trek and Monty Python…stay tuned for updates!
