The BUSM Historical Society is pleased to announce the publication of Volume VI of Aceso: Journal of the Boston University School of Medicine Historical Society.
The topics in this issue span hundreds of years of medical history, covering various topics including the origins of antiseptic technique, the histories of hand surgery and facial transplantation. This issue also provides insight into the backgrounds of many of the individuals who helped shape our institution at its very beginning, including Robert Dawson Evans, John Wade, Dr. Benjamin Waterhouse, Dr. James Utley, and Dr. Tisdale Talbot.
