Paragraph: The interior trim of Addis is really different and special. All of the furniture and decorations were from Ethiopian. First we were attracted by the special “tables” in the restaurant. They are called “Mesob” and looked like baskets with braces. There were also many portraits on the wall and the basic colors in the restaurant were red, yellow and green, which are consistent with Ethiopian national flag colors and represent spirit of freedom. According to the owner’s wife, we knew Ethiopians do not eat pork, and only eat few types of seafood. Typical food is usually a big round piece of bread with chicken, beef and salad on it.
