I want to show my experience of first going to a restaurant called Gyu Kaku. This is my first time to have a Japanese style barbecue in Boston. I remember it so clearly because people have to roast the meat by themselves. Everyone has the opportunity to roast the meat according to his or her preference.

I really like the taste of Japanese style meat. It’s fresh and tasty. I think it somehow depends on the sauce that they have, like the miso based sauce, teriyaki sauce and a light soy sauce. It’s also nice to eat fresh vegetables with the grilled meats. Although from the beginning I am interested in the Japanese style barbecue because we can cook it by ourselves, I finally fall in love with it because of the quality of meat and the combination of meats, vegetables, sauces and desserts.
