Since people consider the kitchen as an organized place for competitive chefs, just like the bridgade system, women chefs are not capable of receiving the same acclaim as male chefs. When we mention kitchens, we firstly think of heat, heavy pots and plenty of equipment. We cannot connect these things with women because we treat women are not strong enough. However, we always connect men with serious chef, experts, adventures and competitors. This perspective is a kind of meaningful symbols, signs and signals that can impact on how much success that women can attain. We should somehow expand and redefine what the standards are and make them more inclusive.
