The executive committee carries out BGSA’s goals by budgeting and organizing events  to bring BU’s biology graduate students together.

Our executive committee is entirely composed of student volunteers and turns over at the start of each semester. We meet monthly to plan BGSA events.

Executive Committee Responsibilities

Co-Chairs:

• Manage the BGSA budget in collaboration with the Chair of the Biology Department.
• Organize and conduct executive committee monthly meetings.

Communications:

• Maintain BGSA website and email account.
• Document minutes of monthly meetings.

Student Representative:

• Serve as a liason between the Biology department and graduate students.
• Represent graduate students at staff meetings.
