Dr. Mardge Cohen, an attending at Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program led a lunchtime discussion about homelessness in Boston and the different ways medical students can help. Dr. Cohen discussed the unique population that exists here at BMC and in the South End and how Boston Healthcare for the Homeless is making an impact in their lives. It was a great way for first year medical students to start to learn about homeless medicine and the special challenges this group faces.
