I’m a junior psych major, but I do a lot of writing and have recently decided that I want to go into a writing career.

Fun Facts:
I’m from near Niagara Falls, NY, which means I’m practically Canadian.
I’m self-taught on the snare drum and am Drum Sergeant for a fife and drum corps. I’ve also been a Civil War Re-enactor since I was 4.
I love sci-fi.
I’m currently working on writing a novel about two time travellers.
I thought plays were really dull and boring until I watched ‘The Flannigan Affair’ by Jonathon Young, a Canadian playwright and actor. He’s amazing and I’m in love with him and you should check out the play, it’s 14 minutes long:

“Poetic Theatre”

This article really jumped out at me because I recently went to see the play Terminus which is writen in verse with a LOT of lovely rhyming. Hive, an interesting theatre experience

It’s the third of a week long, interactive theatre experience. 12 theatre companies exhibit their own unique production as audience members are free to roam about and chose which plays they will experience. This article talks about some […]

Fewer Theatre Jobs for our Generation

I think this article really sums up where most of us are/will be in the next few years. It talks specificially about problems in the theatre world in Britain and how that’s affecting emerging artists’ abilities to find work. It also poses questions on whether or not it’s worth spending so much time and money […]

Historical Palace Theatre

So I know that we’re in contemporary drama, so our articles should be about things related to what’s happening currently in theatre, but I found this article about a local historical theatre from my home town and I thought, after reading all these plays about how important the past is to theatre today, an article […]

‘Tear The Curtain’

This is the extended trailer for a new play written by Jonathon Young of the Electric Company Theatre. I have to start by saying that I’m in love with this guy and his plays are actually what inspired me to get interested in theatre and writing plays, so that’s why I chose this as my […]
