1. The director shot Mr.Chu cooking in the kitchen for a long time. From the establishing shot, we could see Mr.Chu preparing and cooking food. Mr.Chu is good at cooking and must be an excellent chef. I would like to know whether he has already retired and cooks for his family everyday? How many family members does he have?

2. In this film, many conversations unfolded while two or more characters were having meals. For example, the youngest daughter of Mr.Chu was eating food with the boy she loved in a food store, even though the boy loved another girl at that moment. They had a sincere talk, which finally led to the new relationship between them.

3. The food preparation scene in this film is very specific. It shows almost every process of cooking a dish. For example,to cook fish,  the first thing to do is to kill it. Mr. Chu inserted a pair of chopsticks in to the mouth of the fish. After it died, Mr.Chu slices it and put it in the oil.  There’s also scene about catching the chicken, carving the watermelon, and filling in the plate.

4. There are relationships between father and daughters, between sisters, between boys and girls, between neighbors, between teacher and students as well as between friends(classmates).
