Initial Thoughts

At the first time I saw the course title of this WR 100, I know that I would fall in love with this course. The main reason is that I am a person who is really really interested in food, all kinds of food, since I care about eating so much. Food is an important part of a country’s culture. From the ingredients in the dish to the ways of cooking, all show how people in their countries live a life. Furthermore, I would like to share my opinions about the food I have tasted before with other people and recommend some worth-trying restaurants to them. I hope this class will have time for us to discuss about the food, either delicious or unsavory, as well as the experience or feeling while tasting it.  I also want to know the food culture of different countries from our classmates during discussions, since the knowledge behind the food could be various and uncountable.

The care you put into revision and self-assessment is something many students overlook, and it shows in the depth of your analysis. Before I submit any academic work, I’ve started using a Turnitin AI checker to make sure my papers are polished, original, and free of unintentional AI flags. It’s been incredibly helpful for catching issues before submission. Since you clearly value honest, well-crafted writing, you might find it useful too this tool
