I am interested in the type of Asian food people like the most. Although people have different culture background would like different food, for example, Korean people might like Korean food the most. However, since the cross-cultural phenomena are more and more prevalent nowadays. People grow up in different countries begin to accept various food from other countries, such as more and more Americans like Chinese Dim Sum. Therefore, I wonder what kind of food they choose for meal most frequently and which comes the second,and what is the food they have never tried before?

I think this is important because it shows the people’s preferences over varieties of Asian food, and see how the culture background influences people’s choice  as well as the how significance of the cross-culture effects are.

My plans are  to observe what nationality people (who eat Chinese food/ Korean food etc.) are and convey a survey about which type of food they consume the most in Super 88 and how often do they come here.  Furthermore, I am going to ask the staff: “which dish is the most popular one?” and “Who are those potential customers?”  Then, I could find people’s preferences about the dishes in a particular style food place, and where are those people from.
