We received many “winter snow” photos from students, teachers, and staff. Capturing good photos of snow is not easy. A lot of factors affect the style and sentiment of the photo – the time of day, where the sun is in the sky, how much of the snow has melted. But ultimately what matters most is the magic of snow, the “wow” an image evokes from us. Here are the top three photos we received, followed by a gallery of many more.
First Place – “Kenmore Square” by Cristine Yde (student from Brazil)
Second Place – “Brookline” by Mannar Haddad (student from Saudi Arabia)
Third Place – “Squirrel” by Qian Xu (student from China)
Thank you to all who submitted photos: Cristine Yde, Mannar Haddad, Qian Xu, Haneen Alhazmi, Margo Miller, Noor Al-Attas, and Felix Poon.
